Last year, we announced that we integrated the Mintegral SDK with the ironSource mediation platform. The goal was to help publishers all over the world monetize their apps efficiently and increase their ad revenue. It’s been a great partnership so far, so we’re ready to take things to the next level.

Integration with ironSource includes in-app bidding support

We are excited to announce that our integration with ironSource now includes support for in-app bidding technology!

Mintegral is the first Chinese ad-tech company to support in-app bidding. Seeing that ironSource also innovates first-to-market technologies for game developers, this joint focus on innovation makes our partnership that much more valuable. We share a goal to provide publishers with some of the best tools and opportunities in the market to drive ad revenue.

How in-app bidding benefits publishers

So what does this mean for publishers and developers out there? Put simply, in-app bidding will help increase ad revenues. Our advanced programmatic bidding technology evens the playing field by allowing demand sources equal chances to compete at the same time, with the highest bid winning the impression.

In-app bidding comes as an additional monetization strategy for publishers looking for alternatives. Some of the core strengths of in-app bidding technology are transparency and automation. Transparency because in-app bidding gives publishers access to data like who is bidding, bidding trends to follow, when/where valuable users are, and more. Automation because bids happen instantly and simultaneously, so it requires less manual work to set up and manage ad units.

A successful partnership built on strong results

Our performance in the last 6 months has not gone unnoticed, as Mintegral ranked 6th on the Global Performance Index and 2nd on the Global Growth Index. We were the only Chinese company on the International Top 10 charts and we are now the fastest-growing third-party mobile ad platform in Asia.

At the same time, ironSource established itself as one of the top players in the gaming ecosystem, ranking 3rd on the Global Performance Index and 4th on the Global Growth Index. Thanks to heavy investments in its product offering, ironSource continues to be one of the strongest mediation platforms in the world, and our partnership with them is one of the reasons for our own successes over the last 6 months. “I am excited to see our partnership with ironSource leveling up and I am impressed with how much we have managed to achieve in less than a year together,” said Mintegral CEO Erick Fang. “Expanding in-app bidding reach will strengthen publisher ad revenue streams globally and I am confident we can continue to offer our partners best-in-class monetization tools.”

“We’re delighted to integrate Mintegral into our in-app bidding solution, LevelPlay,” explains Nimrod Zuta, VP Product, Platform, ironSource. “LevelPlay has shown immense opportunity for developers and publishers wishing to increase their ad revenue and the addition of Mintegral to the other integrated bidders will further enhance it.”
